You have to admire the intricate buttery layers and the craftsmanship that goes into making a croissant, well a good one at least! After painstakingly painting each crispy layer of pastry, I paired it with 3D 'butter' and 'strawberry jam' - a classic combination. This piece is the first in the 'Soul Food' collection and was also shortlisted and displayed as finalist in the North Sydney Winter Art Prize 2026.
